Morning Blues

Waking up to go to work has been so different in the last week. Coming from a night job, this day job is a happy welcome. It is exciting especially because sleeping for 3 – 4 hours a day seems more than sufficient as opposed to days when even 8 – 12 hours seemed less.

The traffic at 10 am while you sit inside the bus streaming jazz ballads on your cell phone. The bus taking it’s slow turns on roads through various parts of the city and then dropping you at your destination. This is one of the things I had pictured in my head when I quit my previous job.

Being back by 9 pm, having dinner, doing your chores and going to bed, this is truly a new liberating experience.
