Change is painstaking and requires effort. It is more like breaking your habits and rebuilding them especially when you are changing your job and all.
I woke up at 8 am today and pampered myself with continental breakfast. Cornflakes with milk, bananas and honey, couple of slices of bread toast and a mango juice (Paperboat is the best I’ve had so far). I kept wondering how my job change will impact this life I have been leading as night owl.
Then, I bought a new domain adikrishnan.in, this blog needs to migrate there and I’m still figuring out the details. The best part is – I will not rely on templates that are already there. This will be a totally custom setup, with my hard written code. That needs to be featured soon. I’m not expecting excessive traffic, my current blog doesn’t have a great user base but I’m unable to leverage and monitor a lot of different stuff. My renewed love for coding is now going to be a consistent push for this project.
Apart from all this – the usual suspects of bass playing and learning to ride a vehicle is dragging itself along more as a burden. With a change to a day job, I wish to be able to focus more on these aspects as well.
Lastly, I have taken part in the 2015 Goodreads Reading Challenge with sadly one book so far (my goal being 12) but I want to be able to do more that of course!
