A prayer
Would echo the long halls
While you sat, solemn and full of faith
Did you wish?
As I understand – no

Gods wouldn’t laugh at your ways
It was deep and meant something
No, it wasn’t thankfulness
It was devotion
And why? I shall never know

A mountain of joy
And another of fear
The ground between of mystic nature
As your energy vibrates in cosmic lands
I shall see what you mean

Synopsis – I’m trying to describe the pious nature of my deceased grandfathers. While one was playful and other solemn, their common ground was divine devotion which I haven’t understood yet and I’m still finding.
